Job Description

We are a privately held staffing agency located in Reno, Nevada. This an exceptional opportunity for an internal full-time bookkeeper to work with an energetic team in a growing company. This is not a temp position. We are looking for a full-charge bookkeeper proficient in accounting, QuickBooks Enterprise and the ability to maintain the company web site and social media account postings.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for the accounting operations.

Process weekly payroll for 100 plus employees accurately and timely.

Ensure timely payment of payroll tax deposits and payroll reports.

Process wage garnishments

Enter invoices and pay bills.

Monitor AR and work with clients to reduce aging

Post jobs to the web site, social media and maintain the company blog, newsletter, etc.

Reports to the General Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

QuickBooks experience including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, job costing, adjusting journal entries, etc.

Solid MS Office suite knowledge.

Excellent MS Excel skills using scripting and formulas a big plus.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently.

Attention to detail.

Good communication skills both in written and oral communication.

Flexible with change and makes suggestions for improvement.

Productive, efficient reliable and trustworthy.

Cat herding with a smile.

5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.

Associate degree or higher preferred
